No, I was absolutly not talking about planing the face, just rejointing. The joint still seemed tight, but the leaf just sort of fell off. The joint was off to the side in the leaf and had no connection with the apron. Also, I am in Florida so, while there was AC blowing on it there was no furnace acting on it. Actually I'm really not sure what one of those furnaces is like or what it does.
I Guess just cleaning off the old glue and regluing is the best method. Is the vinegar/brass brush the best method for this?
