Make sure its brass and not a coated product, the coated product will become a problem... I just finished the pulls on a bedroom suit that was some type of alloy with brass finish that was beyond cleaning up... I had to remove the coating and add (2) coats of primer with (2) coats of brass gliden spray to enhance the finish to a brass like finish.... (great finished product)
