Seaburg Pedastal table

Have a Seaburg drop-leaf pedastal table manufactured in Jamestown NY which was given to me by my grandmother who received it as a wedding present on or about 1925. The underside is unfinished and has the labels (w/company, part/series 205 m and patent information) THere are several coats of paint and shellac on all other surfaces.

Does anyone know the history of the Seaburg company and is it still in existance?

How should I refinish the piece...thinking probably not have it dipped despite several coats of paint...etc. due to the probable loss of labels? I have never refinished anything before and taking off the several coats is very slow but can be done...one leaf is complete...any product recommendations for solid mahogany stripping and staining and finishing...thanks in advance.
