Thanks James and everybody. I restripped the door and sanded. It is the hardest wood to sand. The dust is more like damp dirt although the moisture content is 12% or lower. Anyway, applied the Cabots Austrailian Timber OIl and it looked good wet although ther was some pretty dark spots as befor only not as bad. I'll go back tommorrow and see what it lookse like dry.
