In Response To: For Jim Schooley/shellac, brushable lacquer (Staci)

Hi Staci, the source that will clear up all the confusion is "the Furniture Doctor" a great old book, found in most librarys and now back in stores. The black lacquer can be found in good paint stores, most finishes can be easily tinted with Trans Tint if not avaible premixed. Find the book and all will become clear.
