Old Mantle

Does anyone here know how to date a mantle? I purchased one at a garage sale that will be setting in my living room as soon as my fireplace is finished.

It is a dark wood made with glues,screws with alot of hand carvings, it has a 16w x 41h oval bevel mirror with two stands on each side of mirror that are flat on top for either a candle or kerosine lamp. it is 60w x 79h overall...

Any help would be appreciated...
