In Response To: How did you strip the maple furniture? (kabell)

I used Kutzit. It is a product by Savogram and is available at ACE Hardware. Apply generously in one direction with a brush and let the paint raise. Always apply to the flat/horizontal side rotating the piece keeping the entire side damp. Once the paint is raised on all sides, use a pressure washer to blow off the paint. This works best if you are fast with the pressure washer and if you do it in the sunshine for quick drying. Keep the water off the back, inside, and unpainted parts of the furniture. Let air dry as quick as possible. Turn a fan on the furniture for more air. Delicate veneer can't take the pressure washer. In that case you will have to wash the paint off with the stripper fluid and wipe with rags. Some picking with a knife or sharp object may be necessary. Once it is dry, you may have to go back and wet with stripper to get residual original finish and remaining paint.
