I have been asked to paint a 70 year old maple bedroom suite. It had been painted and antiqued over the orignal finish. I have it completely stripped, repaired, and rubbed smooth. It is a shame to paint it but that is what the owner wants. I have never painted furniture before and need advice. I have a cheap spray gun. What kind of paint do I use? Do I prime? Rub between coats, etc.? Any advice welcome. Thanks in advance.
