Thank you for the web site! The two drawers I have cleaned match the fiddleback pattern (plate 21) After more cleaning, I found the seams... so, it is veneer... the two drawers that I have cleaned have a vertical pattern. All the rest in the set are horizontal bands. I just can't get over the color. When the light hits it the right way, it has such a sheen to it.
