I have a smallish chest (cherry or reddish maple) from Fancher Furniture. I have found some info on net: Fancher Furniture was in Salamanca, NY. This seems to be Seneca Indian Res. Land based on a couple of EPA notes I found. Their original brick bldg was built 1911. In 1997 Philadelphia Furniture co was established when it bought "storied southern tier co," Fancher. Am not sure when I was, but think I saw that Philadel furn now makes hotel furniture? And what is a "storied southern tier co"? :)
Anyway, am wondering if anyone knows anything about Fancher Furn. co. The chest I purchased seems to be 50's to me. thanx, Nancy
