I have a cedar box that is 12x9.5,11inches high. It has a laquer finish that is yellowing. It has metalbanding with rosette pins. I want to get down to bare wood and seal it . I took all the hardware off to clean, I think it is tin that was bronze coated, and want to reuse. The bottom of the box is stamped McGraw Box Co.
MFRS (not a mistake)
McGraw New York
Thanks for any info you can give me.
