restoring Estey Organ

I have a 1911 Estey Organ that I am going to attempt to restore. The case is actually in very good condition but the finish looks like alligator skin - crackled, rough and dry. To a small hidden area I rubbed a cloth with laquer thinner - it rubbed off beautifully the crackledy looking finish. Now what? If I do the same to the whole case, what do I use to re-finish it so that it is close to the original finish?
