I got a brass plated table lamp at a thrift store. Can you tell me what to use to get it to look brass again -- short of replating. Much of it is okay, but some is totally worn off.
I'm not averse to spray painting it, if you think it would stay brass colored. Some of those spray paint colors look pretty nice. Esp. the metal ones. They have some that are "brass".
If there is no solution to make it look brass, what do I need to do to paint it a color?
