We are refinishing a stamped tin camel back trunk with help from some of you. Trunk went out west in the 1800's, so has been dinged a little and is very rusty. We have used Naval Jelly, but are not sure what color the trunk was originally. Would like to repaint or just blue. What works best? Also gun blue says not to use on non-ferrous metals. What kind of blue do we use?
