I have just finished stripping the paint off my antique metal steamer trunk. There are sections of it that are embossed tin that were originally silver leaves on a black background. The rest of the trunk was black with silver fixtures. Does anyone know how to restore this embossed part without painting each individual leaf?! I want to keep the background black for contrast but the leaves have a lot of the silver rubbed off. I plan on painting the rest of the trunk black and the fixtures silver once again. Thanks!
