Cabinet/veneer/finish restoration in L.A.

I have an English-made table gramophone, ca. 1930, The cabinet is quartersawn oak veneer with (I think) a varnish finish. The cabinet has started to bow at its seams (probably due to the weight of the turntable motor and dried out glue). This has caused some of the oak veneer to splinter. Also, there is sun damage to about 1/4 of the lid which has bleached the finish and raised the grain.

I need to get the cabinet and veneer repaired and then need to restore the existing finish instead of refinishing the entire piece. However, I'm concerned about restoration that matches the existing finish.

Any advice as well as a referral to a pro who can do all this in the Los Angeles area would be appreciated.

John
