In Response To: vanity mirror (Sarah)

We resilver mirrors in our restoration shop, but that is usually on beveled mirrors. How old is the piece, if not more than 100 years it isn't likely the mirror will make much of a differance. Most US made furniture does not have mirrors that are so important that resilvering them will hurt the value too much, if at all. But be prepared to pay $35.00 per square foot for a good job, there fore if there is no bevel just wrap up the old mirror just in case you need it later and get a new glass cut.
