In Response To: Longcase clock glue (Geoff)

Geoff, If these structural blocks aren't loose - don't worry. If they do become loose you can easily have them reglued and re-enforced without hurting the original value. I'm wondering what the substance is that's dripping out? If it is a glue - possibly you can test it by chipping out some of it while in crystal form, heat it - then rub it between your fingers for approx. 30 seconds. If it is glue - when it cools your fingers will stick together. Let me know what you find, Good luck, SA
