Joe, This is what I do. I have a 3 horsepower compressor and use it for nailers and to spray. However I have two air values so not to mix the air tools which need oil with the spray gun line. I have a Binks gun model #62. Its worked so well for so many years I hadn't thought about changing it for a newer model. A dependable gun that's over 20 years old. I don't think you can go wrong with a Binks. See what model from Binks is sold today comparable to my old #62
