Pieces falling off antique frame

I have an antique picture frame (gold) and small pieces are falling of. I have glued them back on and filled some of the cracks , but i was wondering if there is anything i can put on the frame to seal it so that no more pieces fall of as it seems there are a lot of cracks in the decoration or patern (leaves).
