Hi,

I recently purchased a Haywood Wakefield dinning room set. I don't know how old it is, but the seller told me it was constructed of walnut. It has a medium / dark finish. Unfortunately, a hot dish was left on the table top. The finish in that area is now dull and lightened. Is it possible to improve the appearence of the table without having the table completely refinished? Is this something that a nonprofessional refinisher attempt?

Thanks, Frank
