Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I moved to another city soon after having the work done so I can't ask the restorer take a look at it.
I touched up the bare wood in the chipped areas with touch-up markers I had bought from Liberon/Star, so it doesn't look quite as bad.
The drawer does not rub against the edge of the frame, so it must be the glue. Could humidity cause the glue to fail? I now live in Boston, and there were huge fluctuations in humidity recently which caused me to put in an air conditioner.
