HW used a multi step finish that include stains and toners to achieve the look. I would wash coat the piece then stain wiht a light amber stain and tone with the pink tint. Use only lacquer as that was the original finish. It will take some experimenting to determine exacly what colors of stain and toner it will take to duplicate the color. Once you have the color you want topcoat with a couple of clear coats to protect the color and add depth.
