Cynthia- Try your local salvage yard, a lot of these get thrown out, picked up for recycling. You may find a cheap bed with the rails you need at a yard or estate sale. Try the Salvation army or city mission. Watch the curbs on garbage day. Buy an old house, they are usually left in the attic (it used to be hard to even give those old beds away!) Good luck, Diane
