Recently purchased a solid mahagony table w/ drop ends. All three pieces have a leather inlay. All leather inlay are torn and scarred. All other wood appears solid, no warping or chips. What is the best way(s) to remove the inlays. Is the leather held down by contact cement, or a type of adhesive? Table was made by Colombia Manufacturing Company, Louisville, KY. Advice appreciated.
