Are you familar with the threading method, is the problem with the bobbin or the needle? I think you could go to a sewing store for a lesson if you are not used to this sort of machine. I think if you get the thread in the needle, and into the bobbin, place the bobbin into the shuttle below the table and leave the thread tailing out onto the table top. Roll the hand wheel a couple times and as the needle emerges from the suttle space the two threads will be intwined and ready for the material.
