I recently purchased a home where there was left a desk that fits the description that was mentioned. It has a top that fold forward and down bring up what appears to be a platform that might have held a type writer. Everything is in tact but the mechanism doesn't work perfect due to loose screws. I was trying to figure a way to get it out of my basement when I got curious and looked on the net for information. Does any one know what era it is from approx.?
