I use a 2:1 mix paint thinner and linseed oil for glazes. I vary the open time by switching between paint thinner (mineral spirits) and naptha, which dries faster. I believe Nu-Glaze is still available. Check the website woodfinishsupply.com. If you don't see it listed, email them.
