Need help with carved/down/mohair/chair restoration

I was recently given an antique chair missing it's bottom cusion. The back is overstuffed/down filled, with mohair upholstrey. I assume the cushion would be the same. Would it be a mistake to have a foam type cushion made for this or should one stick with the overstuffed/down? Also does anyone know of any manufacture's of a mohair print upholstrey? I have been able to find solids only.
