Wicker repair is not too difficult. I would suggest that you look for a book on it. It is mostly weaving 101 wiht the caveat that it has little or no sheer strength. Most wicker is under tension from bein stretched over the frames. Frame repir can be difficult because you often have to rmove a lot of wicker to get where you can make a strong rpair and it often involves steam bending replacement parts. If you can find a restorer to do the wood work you can get plenty of work reweaving the wicker as almost no one will touch it. If you will send me your email address to; jac111@new-vita1.com I will try to help you.
