I stripped the varnish from my table top to restore.The top is walnut. I found several dark spots--different sizes--that the stripper willnot remove. Any ideas as to what will remove them? The table is about 60 years old. It was covered with what appeared to be a mahogany stain--dark. I want to lighten it to show the grain. Suggestions/help, please.
