Missing hardware from secretary's desk

I have a mahogony secretary's desk with tags in the drawers indicating it is a Lincoln Desk built by Globe Wernicke and there is a date stamp under the top indicating it was built in 1913. There is a retractable typewriter stand in the left side but there is hardware missing from the "door" that covers the stand while retracted. I'm trying to figure out how the missing hardware is supposed to work and what it looks like. Can anyone help?
