Hi Barbara,

If you are looking for a good practicable airbrush and should be easy to buy where ever you are. Your could try a Paasche Airbrush set, a dual action -internal mix. A small Y2. This you would find would be a good practical one for what you are trying to do. Badger brushes are just for beginners. Paasche website is: www.paascheairbrush.com

I have had many of the different types but this is what I am using at the moment and I am finding it works well. I do very fine work with the airbrush. As far as the compresser is concerned I purchased not so long ago a small silent Piston compresser. You won't believe it. It does not have a brand name marked on it. But you should be able to go to any art supply store and buy one, when I say small it is about 8 odd inches long. I don't recommend buying a diaphram one as they break down very quickly if you are using them a lot. When you buy your compresser makes sure you buy a 'water trap' as well as you really should not airbrush without one, as you could damaged your work with the spray of condensation which builds up in the hose.

I hope this may help you a little. If I can be of further help. Just email me. Regards, Elizabeth
