My mother gave me an antique soup tureen for Christmas that belonged to her grandmother. There are no markings to indicate date or manufacturer. It has a blue floral design on a white background. When I went to wash it I noticed some surface cracks along the lip that are starting to extend into the bowl. Can these be sealed so that the tureen can be used or should I just leave it for display purposes only?
