Doing invisible repairs on glass or semi-transparent glass or porcelain is almost impossible when a light is shown behind the repair. Your restorer should have explain this to you. If you check on this web site in the listed ceramic and porcelain restorers section there are a number of good, skilled people to discuss a remedy for your lampshade.
