In need of expert restoration. I have a figural lampshade made of eggshell porcelain painted with peach luster. It has a crack. I took this to what I thought was a professional restorer. The work was horrible. Not only can you still see the crack but the luster paint was just as badly done. The fact that you can see through the porcelain since it's a lamp shade makes the job even more difficult since I need it to be invisible. I have had such bad luck with so called "expert restorers", Not sure what to do or where to look. I am in Florida. Any ideas? Please help.
