I have a small ceramic figure which has its head broken off. It was a clean break and has repaired well. However I am using acrylic paint to touch up the join, but when I try to glaze over with acrylic varnish the touch up paint work 'lifts' and there are small particles under the glaze. The paint work is thoroughly dry. Am I using the wrong paint/glaze?
