In Response To: Repairing Jade with Hxtal - Help! (Phoenixc)

Hi Phoenix, I have never repaired jade but have repaired something similar, alabaster so I guess the procedures would be the same. The main thing is to consolidate, use Paraloid B72, then I usually use an epoxy resin Araldite 2020 for the adhesion. Hxtal NYL-1 is also an epoxy resin so I guess you would be able to use it. Both products have been tested for non yellowing and they are OK. Manuela
