Like with the 'Broken antique glass torchiere shade' question, You can restore the shape of a glass object but you will always see the breaks. If you are a trained restorer you can get very close to the original appearance of the lamp if you use coloured yet (milky) transparent fillings. As a novice it will be a challenge and it will be very very difficult. Restoration of glass and/or ceramics is not just putting the shards back together. It is also looking how to preserve the object in the long term. Having said that, this glass lamp because it is glass any restoration done on it will be visible. If you want to use an epoxy resin DO NOT use off the shelve resins, they will decolourise within months or even weeks. In the U.S. Hxtal NYL-1 is widely used to restore objects and is easiest to come by (read the other questions and you will find where to get it). When filling chips on your lamp used fumed silica as a bulking agent in the Hxtal resin. This will make the epoxy milky but yet retain most of its transparency. You obviously like that lamp a lot so I suggest you invest some money in it and have it restored by a trained professional. If you do the restoration yourself let us know what you did and how. Good luck
