My experience with the Sylmasta UV Resins is very positive. I've used them for years now. The cleaner you get your glass and the more exact fit you get, the more likely that you will have a very durable mend. If you've got it lined up exactly, you probably would have a next-to-impossible time trying to undo the work. Conservationists don't like the irreversibility of some applications of UV Resins, though they will brag about how it was used to stabilize the Portland Vase so the Hxtal could set and cure.

As a side note, Sylmasta is in the process of updating their systems. That's why you may not have heard from them recently.
