Hi Dawn, do not worry. First off it is transparent. So therefore you know the most important thing. Secondly you are good at mixing colours. So far great. Remember this is not a problem repair, just one to step back from and look at the basics. What is it that the customer wants and what can you achieve.

Step one is always the cleaning off of any unwanted or previously glue pieces. Always , START with the mild approach. If you have been doing restoration of years then it will come to you. Step by step.

Look at the end result you and the client want to achieve and take it slowly. Take a tray with towel underneath, this being for the residue of cleanser. Once you have done that and each piece is thoroughly cleaned and laying the the tray independantly, let a couple of days go by, so that sufficient frying and washing liquid are perfectly dried out and take another look at what actually is the result so far. Step by step, then come back on line for the next step. Remember, that the cleaning off and taking each piece as an item is the first key towards reassembly. I have found over many years, that to take each step, slowly but surely is the way to go. I am hopeful, that as anther professional that the erasing of unwanting glue, dirt, grease and so one will be know to you.

So look forward to hearing from you after these first, necessary steps are taken.

Regards Jan
