I am trying to fix a cherry dropleaf table,it has 3 big white spots. These were caused by sitting hot pans on several folded dish towels.I have read the posts on removing blush,I am trying the mayonnaise& peanut butter.I have no hope of this working on the spots, because they have been there a very long time and the finish is cooked.I dont want to refinish all 3 parts of the table top, just remove the white spots, which are on only one leaf.Would the spray blush remover work for this?
