ANTIQUE FURNITURE RESTORATION DISCUSSION BOARD

Hitchcock rocker?

I recently bought a used rocker that has the Hitchcock logo on the back, and is the black and maple coloring (maple seat, black arms and staves, etc), with no black on front of arms. The stencil on the chair back is one I can't find on any site: it's an eagle, wings spread, with its face in profile. Is this a genuine Hitchcock? How old is it, and should I restore the arms at all?
