How should I finish log cabin floor

Hi, Can you tell me the best, least toxic and easiest method to finish my older log cabin floor? The floor is the original very rustic & rough unfinished 2 x 6 pine touque & groove. We have sanded it all over and now are wondering what to seal it with. Would a Watco Danish oil stain, sealer work or an outdoor deck stain sealer work? We need something readily available, simple, quick, non-toxic(somewhat remote area, but there is a Home Depot an hour away) as the local handyman is putting on the finish. This cabin is a short term vacation rental property in the Colorado rockies near skiing, so it will get traffic, mud and snow on occasion indoors. We want to keep the floor rustic but would like it to repeal dust, dirt and mosisture & well need to clean it on occasion, any ideas out there? Thanks, Pamela
