If you search the index you'll find a lot of info on odors and how to get rid of them..it could me mold/mildew or something like the actual woods used in construction...which would require sealing the wood in with a finish of some type...an immediate cure can be had by putting a Bounce fabric softener sheet in each drawer after liberally spraying with Fabreze, but this might just mask the offending odor and replace it with the Bounce smell....
