I can't tell the make of desk, from the pictures but the desk is well worth what you paid. It seems to be a run of the mill roll top to me, not a great one but a very nice one just the same. You will want to get a good book from the library, since you need to have a lot of good advice on this project and you don't want to make any mistakes. These items will sell for 1000.00 to 2000.00 depending on the job of refinishing and the market. I suggest "the Furniture Doctor" for good ole down to earth advice that's simple to follow. (and fun reading too) Come back when you have other questions and don't be fooled by the poly purveyors.
