In Response To: Warming boiled linseed oil before applying? (Judy)

The best way to get your Linseed oil to absorb a little better, into the wood surface, is to thin it a little. I use 25% turpentine added to my boiled linseed oil on a first application. Warming of wax should be done in a pan of warm water, away from the stove and any flame. I would use the same precaution with any oil base product.
