Thats right Jim, and while it doesn't thrill me, as long as it allows me to get the finish to flow out flat and dry hard and get the piece out the door and the check in my hand....I can deal with it...Many finish formulations have silicone added to them already to cut the surface tension, stave off the fisheye problem and aid flow out.......I guess what I really don't understand is why Pledge can be so problematic..it is only 5-10% silicone, 5-10% isoparafinnic hydrocarbon solvent which I believe has the lemon scent in it, and 60-80% water, yet it seems to be hard to remove completely from a surface, and given the fact that we're adding pure silicone to our finishes to combat it...does it make sense to anyone else??.
