I deal mainly with newer furniture, 1860 minus 150 takes it to 1710 or thereabouts. I can't remember for sure but isn't roccocco ealier that 18th century and French? I may be misreading the messages but I thought Thomas Chippendale was produsing furniture in the late 18th century.......1780 to ??? Maybe I have my furniture history wrong. Just wondering.
