Okay admitidly I don't know anything about antique funiture period, however this thing that passed down from my grandmother and has been in the garage for the last 50 or so years has been said by her and others to be the real deal as one of the ones all the repros were copied after. Back in the 60s some antique dealer offered a couple of grand for it. I also have what I think is a matching sofa type thing. My question is first is who can tell me how to tell if it is real deal? what some ballpark values are? Is it okay to put boiled linseed oil on the wood parts?

Thank you guys for your help.
